Plumbers
We will provide access to plumbers in circumstances where the emergency is any of the following:
- Visible burst water connections and pipes
- Blocked drains, toilets, baths, and sinks causing further damage to the business premises
- Emergency geyser overflow, valves (Latco and pressure release) causing loss of hot water and pressure-release problems.
Glaziers
Glazier assistance is a 24-hour helpline, where a service provider is dispatched to ensure that damaged building glass can be professionally replaced. We will provide glazier assistance in the case of broken or badly cracked windowpanes which could result in unauthorised access to the business premises. Note: Glazier assistance does not include the cost of materials.
Electricians
We will provide access to electricians where the emergency is any of the following resulting in power failures:
- Distribution boards, circuits, and main cables
- Earth-leakage relays
- Geyser connections and elements
- Plug points
- Light fittings or switches
- Lightning strikes on wiring
- Multiple burnt connections on wiring or plug points
- Connections to all electrical motors (e.g. electric gate motor)
Locksmiths
We will provide the services of a locksmith if keys are broken off or lost for the main entrance or exit of the business premises (including outbuildings), or if a person is locked inside the business premises.
Additional benefits
We will also provide the services of:
- Tree fellers and beekeepers – paid for, up to the per-incident limits only and only within daylight hours
- Pest controllers to eradicate borer beetles, thatch lice, dust mites, cockroaches, fleas, fish moths, ants, ticks, bedbugs, and rodents – paid for, up to the per-incident limits only and only within daylight hours
- Security assistance and guarding services in the event of a break-in. Note: Cost will be for your own account.
Office Assist is available 24/7, 365, unless stated otherwise.

What does Office Assist cover?
Someone could damage your property breaking in, or a severe storm could break windows and glass. Office Assist covers the cost of the first hour of the damage repair team’s call-out fee, saving you money and preventing more damage to your business premises.
When would I need a plumber?
You will have access to plumbers in the event of visible burst water connections and pipes, blocked drains, toilets, baths, and sinks that may cause further damage to the business premises. Emergency geyser overflow, valves (Latco and pressure release) that cause loss of hot water and pressure-release problems would also warrant a plumber.
When would I need a glazier?
We will provide glazier assistance in the case of broken or badly cracked window panes which could result in unauthorised access to the business premises. Materials are excluded as this will be for your own account.
When would I need an electrician?
You’ll have access to electricians in the event of the following resulting in power failures: distribution boards, circuits, and main cables, earth-leakage relays, geyser connections and elements, plug points, light fittings or switches, lightning strikes on wiring, multiple burnt connections on wiring or plug points or connections to all electrical motors (e.g. electric gate motor).
